Botany in a Day Classes

I’ve always had intentions of studying one of my favorite books, Botany In A Day by Thomas J. Elpel. Alone, this is a fantastic book, but there’s an annual online course you can take that uses it. The class is available for a donation… in fact I think you can take it without one, but if the class is anything like the book, you’ll want to help them out. Either way, check the course out at Botany Everyday Online Classes. Look over to the right of the page and watch for this year’s class to begin March 21.

Shop Our Bookshop Lists

We offer a few titles and special bargains directly, but also want to continue to make our entire collection available. We’ll do this through Bookshop.com where you’ll find our special curated list containing as many of our old favorites as we can as well as some great new titles. When shopping our lists there you will be buying from Bookshop.com, but a portion returns to us and an equal portion goes to local bookstores, something we wholeheartedly endorse. If you have any problems with the service please let us know. Even though we’re not handling those orders we want to know if the service fails to me our usual high standard.

A New Year; A New Randy’s Books

Due to many factors including unplanned disruptions in supply chains to small independent operations like ours we have downsized in inventory and activity. But we’d still like to be present to help folks find the Best Books on Nature and the Environment so we’re developing an entirely different site focused on bringing you favorites and great new titles one book at a time. Bear with us as the titles add up. We’ll hopefully be adding them one a week or more and before you know it will be sporting a budding collection by Spring.
